Users assigned to the project administrator role can limit access to participant data by using Data Access Groups, where only users within a specific Data Access Group can access records created by users within that group.

Users not assigned to DAGs will have access to ALL data. This should be used for project administrators to oversee all data collection.

DAGs are useful in the case of a multi-site or multi-group project that requires that one group is not able to access another group's data. For example, if you are collecting data across Vancouver, Canada, or internationally and need to keep data from different sites separate.
